Clothing Labels Expose`- BCI Corporation’s Elegant Woven Label Selection Transforms Small Clothiers into Big Time Fashionistas

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

Clothing labels done right - and fashion designers are loving it. BCI Corporation continues to supply unique clothing trims to the fashion industry.

BCI.JPG (PRWEB) June 13, 2006 -- BCI Corporation's extensive variety of online clothing labels allow even small clothiers to show their couture with a sense of high fashion. Numerous styles allow for any genre clothing to be completed with the perfect woven label.

Cheap clothing trims just jump off garments to the trained buyer’s eyes,
" Clothing labels are the final touch, yet the first impression," says Paul Wade, Director of Marketing for BCI Corporation labels.

Clothing designers are increasingly aware of the importance of the small details that help sell their garments. In today’s marketplace, one is not likely to pay top dollar for a limited production couture garment when there is a scratchy clothing label in the neck line. Consumers inspect these details when touching the garments, and this is why BCI manufactures and supplies a vast assortment of clothing labels that exude high-quality and attention to detail. Clothing designers are much more likely to increase trunk show sales when their sample pieces have high-end labels and trims on the garments.

"Cheap clothing trims just jump off garments to the trained buyer’s eyes," says Wade. "Main street clothing resellers want to be known for their attention on quality, so it’s really a chain reaction beginning with the clothing components, i.e. clothing labels, trims and fabrics. BCI clothing labels are synonymous with elegant styles and excellent quality."

If clothing designers review the BCI Corporation product line, they find unique " clothing labels" like imitation suede labels, rhinestone stud transfer labels or organic cotton printed labels. BCI's "Florentine Collection" has been very well received. These fabric labels direct focused attention on making them part of the overall synergy of the garment piece allowing clothing designers to achieve a unique identity in apparel sales.

BCI has also begun offering new, exclusive laser-engraved or "branded" hangtags that are available in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. These are embossed on 24pt. card stock with or without string. Woven label samples of any of the products listed at the company website are available free of charge by emailing BCI Corporation.

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

Crystal D, a leading corporate awards manufacturer, has published an article that highlights tactics for employee recognition presentation, to ensure that employers honor employees in the most effective manner.

St. Paul, MN (PRWEB) June 13, 2006 –- Crystal D http://www.crystal-d.com)">(http://www.crystal-d.com), a leading supplier of corporate awards, promotional gifts, and employee recognition products, has published a new article about how to present awards to deserving employees.

“Companies are looking for ways to increase the quality of performance from their employees,” says Audra Dahlgren, marketing director of Crystal D. “They are using many different tactics and employee recognition via the corporate award is at the top of the list.”

However, managers often hesitate to honor employees with written or verbal praise because they are not sure how to phrase their comments. For this reason, Crystal D has authored an article discussing how to effectively present corporate awards to deserving employees. This pointed article gives executives and recognition planners the essential information needed to make an effective presentation, including:

•    Who should present the award
•    What should be said
•    What type of award should be given
•    Who should attend

“Employee recognition has a direct effect on employee performance when it is presented properly,” says Dahlgren. “It can either fan the flame and increase employee engagement, or it can stifle a strong sense of commitment. Presenting an award in a personally meaningful way makes a difference.”

DDC Group Invests In Offshore Growth of HR Outsourcing Sector with Stake in OS2i, a DDC HRO Partner -- cites further example of DDC hybrid solution for supporting multi-shore client needs

DDC Group ownership stake in offshore Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) provider augments DDC HRO offerings and further strengthens DDC hybrid onshore-offshore human capital BPO proposition for growing HR sector -- where clients increasingly need help with both onshore and offshore or "hybrid" staffing solutions.

New York, NY; & London (PRWEB via HRMarketer) June 13, 2006 -- DDC Group today announced that it has made an equity investment stake in OS2i, a DDC HRO partner – further evidencing DDC’s view of the growth opportunity in HR BPO that leverages a hybrid onshore-offshore service delivery model. The latter has been a mainstay of DDC Group business philosophy and permeates through all business units.

The resulting "hybrid" or "multi-shore" RPO approach to the difficult issue of successful candidate sourcing yields important results in the modern workplace in that it cuts the time and cost of candidate sourcing; and improves onshore recruitment focus on timely candidate management and good onboarding processes. This to ensure successful hiring and onboarding of 'the right candidates' for the organization in a timely manner.

Speaking of the investment, Group Financial Director Brett Trevalyan said: ”We sense a shared vision for customer service and practical results, leveraging offshore techniques and staff deployment in delivering valuable results for our clients.”

“With this expansion of our existing Alliance relationship and our combined experience-base, we see a great strategic fit working together”, says Jan Trevalyan, DDC Group Founder and Chairman.

Addressing the further strengthening of the working relationship between DDC HRO and OS2i in the category of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (“RPO”), David Kinnear CEO of DDC HRO noted: “Here we spotted an operational and strategic synergy that was compelling and that demanded further exploration. Only a few could see that offshore processing was a key component of the HR BPO business and that this would be key to driving much-sought efficiencies for many clients in the years ahead. These guys did. It’s a pleasure to work with our colleagues at OS2i who are clearly forward-thinking and results-focused.”

Says Regan George, Managing Director of OS2i in the UK: “This investment and our combined experience will accelerate our growth -- this being timely as the HR marketplace now takes note of the opportunity for offshore delivery of support services such as recruitment processing. We’re delighted with this turn of events.”

Custom Retail Packaging Company Introduces Environmental Clamshell Alternative

AVC Corp., a one-stop custom retail packaging company based in Torrance, Calif., announces the introduction of its Environmental Rigid Blister (ERB) package to the market. This new patented design reduces the amount of plastic used, making it cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

Torrance, CA (PRWEB) June 13, 2006 –- Recognizing the need to be environmentally proactive and reduce the amount of plastic in retail packaging, Torrance, Calif. manufacturer AVC Corp. (http://www.avccorp.com) announces the development of its new patent-pending Environmental Rigid Blister (ERB) package.

Made from a combination of recyclable plastic, blister board and corrugated, the attractive design is not only environmentally friendly but is also cost-effective as it reduces the amount of plastic and eliminates the need for a paper insert.

AVC, a one-stop custom retail packaging company, developed the ERB as one of many environmental alternatives to traditional clamshell and blister packages.

The blister board can be designed in any size, shape or color, which allows limitless opportunities for creative design as well as ample advertising space. This concept reduces the amount of overall packaging materials used, which in turn saves money while diminishing the impact on the environment.

“As a leader in the Environmental Packaging Movement, AVC continues to research and develop innovative and environmentally friendly packages,” said Michael Baker, General Counsel to AVC. “The ERB marks a major milestone in green packaging – it uses less plastic and more blister board. AVC’s ERB also utilizes renewable and sustainable packaging materials.”

The ERB features a clear thermo-formed plastic window so the consumer can see the product before purchasing. Because the ERB does not require the same sealing processes as standard clamshell packaging, all eco-friendly PVC alternatives can be used.

“With growing consumer, retailer, and government concern over potential health problems associated with PVC, more and more large retail and club stores are pushing to reduce or eliminate the use of PVC in packaging,” said Art Stephens, AVC’s VP of Manufacturing. “We have developed methods of thermoforming and sealing several PVC alternatives, including RPET, PETG, NatureWorks ® PLA, and clarified Styrene.”

Widely accepted by large retail and club stores, AVC’s ERB can be customized to package any product in any shape or size.

“Another benefit of the ERB is the package is significantly lighter in weight than traditional clamshell and blister packages, resulting in substantial transportation cost savings,” Baker said. “Plus, the package is designed to be extremely durable, which makes it easy to store and ship.”

In addition to being cost-effective and environmentally friendly, AVC’s ERB is also theft-resistant and safe for the purchaser. Consumers can say goodbye to painful plastic cuts as the ERB is easy to open and does not require any cutting of the thermo-formed plastic.
With more than 50 years of experience in the retail custom packaging industry, AVC (http://www.avccorp.com) designs packages with the consumer, retailer and environment in mind. The ERB is one of AVC’s many environmental packaging concepts.
